| Traditional style western hats are hats with conventional styling---like the hats you associate with a banker, cattleman or a US president. These hats are usually conservative, both in style and color. Dwight Yoakam, George Bush, George Strait, and Ronald Reagan are a few examples of gentleman that wear traditional western hats. Today at least half of all western hats sold are traditional style western hats. The crown height may vary a bit, the brim width can vary a bit--the crease and roll can take on the personality of the individual wearing the hat, but overall we still consider the hat a traditional style cowboy hat.
