Straw Style Hats for Women

Straw hats can be made of naturally grown Panama, Raffia or Seagrass or man-made material such as Toyo and Shantung. All of the different straws have their own attributes. Some are lighter in weight, some are more airy, some are tough and durable and some are less expensive while others cost more. Very few straw hats are truly packable. The best packable straws we have found are the crocheted raffias. Straw hats tend to be more fragile and usually cannot be cleaned satisfactorily. Fortunately, most straws are modestly priced and can be replaced as needed.
