Women's church hats are different from most hats in the respect that you can wear them backwards or forwards. Many of the hats have a decoration on the front of the hat and although the label is customarily worn in the back of the hat, it is not unusual for many women to place the hat on their head with the decoration in the back. It is perfectly fine to wear the hat either way - place the hat on your head where it looks best on you and you feel most comfortable. Rules are meant to be broken sometimes!
